Objective

Mission Sahyog aims to empower women and promote literacy through the establishment of a community resource center and library. The project focuses on providing skills training, educational resources, and support services to women, fostering their economic and socialindependence. ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Mission Sahyog, located in Madingir, New Delhi, is a registered nonprofit organization under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Dedicated to promoting social welfare without discrimination, we focus on women empowerment, education, and cultural preservation. Our initiatives include skills training, educational support, and the establishment of community resources such as libraries and resource centers. By addressing critical social issues, Mission Sahyog aims to create an inclusive, educated, and self-sufficient community.

Mission Sahyog’s Women Empowerment & Library Development project aims to create a supportive & inclusive environment for women & the community at large. By offering vocational training & skills development workshops, the project seeks to enhance women’s employability & financial independence. The establishment of a resource center will provide crucial support services, including legal, medical, psychological, & residential assistance. Additionally, the project will promote self-employment opportunities & leadership development among women, fostering their active participation in community decision-making. The library component will serve as an educational & cultural hub, offering access to a diverse collection of books, journals, & digital resources. It will also play a vital role in preserving tribal culture & heritage through specialized collections & programs. By integrating women empowerment & library development initiatives, the project aims to provide comprehensive support, promote lifelong learning, & foster a culture of inclusivity & equality within the community

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

Solution: Implement a comprehensive awareness campaign using various media channels, community meetings, and partnerships with local leaders to educate the community about the project’s benefits and encourage active participation.

Solution: Secure multiple funding sources, including CSR partnerships, grants,
and donations. Develop a detailed budget and financial plan to ensure efficient
use of resources. Explore in-kind donations and volunteer support to supplement
financial resources.
